Das Salzbergwerk Stetten, oft auch Salzwerk Stetten genannt, liegt am Südrand des Ortes Stetten bei Haigerloch im Zollernalbkreis und ist das älteste bergmännisch abbauende Salzbergwerk Deutschlands, das heute noch betrieben wird.
1850 gelangten die beiden Fürstentümer Hohenzollern-Hechingen und Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen an das Königreich Preußen. Hintergrund war die Amtsniederlegung der beiden hohenzollerschen Fürsten infolge der Märzunruhen von 1848, hierdurch waren die zuvor geschlossenen Erbverträge der Fürstentümer mit Preußen in Kraft getreten.
