Die Kirche St. Peter und Paul ist die Stadtpfarrkirche der katholischen Pfarrei St. Peter und Paul in Waldkirchen und wird auch als "Bayerwald-Dom" bezeichnet.
Die Stadtpfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul wird wegen ihrer Größe auch „Dom des Bayerischen Waldes“ bzw. „Bayerwald-Dom“ genannt und zählt zu den größten Sakralbauten der Diözese Passau. Sie wurde im neugotischen Stil 1857 bis 1861 nach Plänen von Leonhard Schmidtner vom Baumeister Andreas Schwarzenberger aus Passau errichtet.
