Die Firma Erlbau GmbH & Co. KG wurde 1979 von Alois Erl gegründet. Der Großteil der Gewerke wird in Eigenleistung erbracht. Die Tätigkeitsfelder umfassen neben der Projektentwicklung, Planung und Architektur auch die handwerklichen Bereiche Zimmerei, Malerei, Spenglerei, Heizungs-, Sanitär- und Metallbau als auch Hoch- und Spezialtiefbau. Daneben betreibt das Unternehmen auch eine Gärtnerei und einen Steinbruch.
