Der 70 m hohe Perlachturm ist ein Turm in der Altstadt von Augsburg. Im 10. Jahrhundert als Wachturm erbaut, ist er heute im Ensemble mit dem benachbarten Augsburger Rathaus ein Wahrzeichen der alten Reichsstadt und dient heute unter anderem als Aussichtsturm.
Im Jahre 989 ursprünglich als Wachturm erbaut, erlebte der Perlachturm im Laufe seiner über tausendjährigen Geschichte zahlreiche Um- und Ausbauten. Sein heutiges Erscheinungsbild erhielt er im Zuge des Neubaus des Augsburger Rathauses in den Jahren 1612 bis 1618 von dem bekannten Stadtbaumeister Elias Holl. Optisch an das prächtige Nachbargebäude angepasst, bildet der Perlachturm seither mit diesem zusammen eines der schönsten Renaissance-Ensembles nördlich der Alpen. Einst Ausdruck reichsstädtischen Bürgerstolzes, sind Rathaus und Perlachturm auch heute noch Wahrzeichen und Mittelpunkt der historischen Augsburger Altstadt.
