Der Bahnhof Celle ist ein Nah- und Fernverkehrsbahnhof auf der Bahnstrecke Hannover–Hamburg. Das Bahnhofsgebäude wurde am 9. Oktober 1845 eröffnet.
Im Bahnhof befindet sich ein Servicezentrum der Deutschen Bahn AG.
Der Bahnhof gehört zur Bahnhofskategorie 3. An ihm halten stündlich Intercity- / ICE-Züge nach Hannover und Hamburg. Im Regionalverkehr verbinden Züge der Metronom Eisenbahngesellschaft Celle mit Hamburg und Uelzen sowie Hannover und Göttingen. Celle ist Endpunkt der Linien S6 und S7 der S-Bahn Hannover.
