Wäldchestag ist in Frankfurt am Main der Name des Dienstags nach Pfingsten, an dem ein traditionelles Volksfest am Oberforsthaus im Frankfurter Stadtwald stattfindet. Das Festgelände liegt im Stadtteil Niederrad in der Nähe des Waldstadions. Bis in die 1990er Jahre hatten an diesem Tag nachmittags die meisten Frankfurter Geschäfte geschlossen, und die Arbeitnehmer hatten ab 12 Uhr frei. Deshalb wurde der Wäldchestag scherzhaft im Volksmund auch Frankfurts Nationalfeiertag genannt.
