Die Fidor Bank AG ist eine deutsche Direktbank mit Sitz in München und gehört überwiegend zur französischen Groupe BPCE.
Im Jahr 2003 wurde die Kölsch Kröner & Co. AG gegründet. 2009 erfolgte die Umbenennung in den heutigen Namen und erhielt die Vollbanklizenz. Von März 2007 bis zum 30. Juni 2015 war die Fidor Bank börsennotiert. Die frühere Sparschwein Operations GmbH ist heute unter der Firma Fidor Payment Services GmbH Teil der Fidor Bank. Die ehemalige Sparschwein AG wurde ebenfalls von Matthias Kröner, ehemaliger Vorsitzender der DAB Bank, geleitet.
Für die Kreditvermittlungs-Plattform Smava.de fungiert sie als zwischengeschalteter Vertragspartner. Die Schwestergesellschaft FidorTecS fokussiert sich auf innovative Zahlungs- und Kundenbindungssysteme und ist Mitglied in der Open Source Business Alliance.
