Description

Der Geo-Naturpark Bergstraße-Odenwald wurde im Jahr 2015 in das "International Geoscience & Geoparks Programme" der UNESCO aufgenommen und trägt somit die Auszeichnung "UNESCO Global Geopark". Er vereint eine reizvolle Landschaft, die sich auf einer Fläche von 3500 Quadratkilometern zwischen dem UNESCO-Welterbe Grube Messel im Norden, dem Rheintal im Westen über den Odenwald bis hin zum Bauland im Osten und dem Neckartal im Süden erstreckt.
