Hechenwang ist ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Windach im oberbayerischen Landkreis Landsberg am Lech. Das Kirchdorf liegt auf einer Höhe von 594 m ü. NHN.
Der Ort wird 1285 als Sitz der Herren von Schondorf erwähnt. Hechenwang war vom Gemeindeedikt 1818 bis zur Gebietsreform eine selbständige Gemeinde und wurde am 1. Januar 1972 nach Windach eingemeindet, mit Ausnahme des im Süden gelegenen Ortsteils Achselschwang, der zu Utting kam.
