Das Dorf Höfen, offiziell Höfen , ist ein Ortsteil der oberschwäbischen Gemeinde Ettringen im Landkreis Unterallgäu in Schwaben. Es besteht aus dem Dorf Höfen und dem Weiler Oberhöfen.
Höfen wird urkundlich erstmals am 14. September 1313 erwähnt, in einer Schenkung von Johann dem Fronhofer an das Dominikanerinnenkloster St. Margaret in Augsburg für die Aufnahme seiner Schwester Agnes in den Konvent. Der Einzelhof hieß damals noch „Velbach“ und ging schon bald zeitweise an das Kloster Steingaden, dessen Probst den Hof 1336 an Rüdiger den Schnitzer und seine zwei Söhne verleibdingt, unter der Bedingung, die Klosteruntertanen im benachbarten Siebnach unbekränkt zu lassen. Der Oberhöfener Hof ist 1569 als „St. Margaretenhof“ genannt.
