Steimke ist ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Obernholz, Landkreis Gifhorn in Niedersachsen im südlichen Teil der Lüneburger Heide, nahe der Grenze zu Sachsen-Anhalt, und hat 229 Einwohner.
Steimke befindet sich etwa 30 km südlich der Stadt Uelzen, gehört verwaltungstechnisch aber zum Landkreis Gifhorn. Der Ort liegt zwischen dem Naturpark Südheide und dem Naturpark Elbufer-Drawehn. Steimke ist Teil der Gemeinde Obernholz und befindet sich im Zentrum der Gemeinde. Nächstgelegene Mittelzentren sind Gifhorn, Celle und Uelzen.
