Das Quartier Vauban [voˈbɑ̃ː] ist der neueste Stadtteil von Freiburg im Breisgau mit 5.602 Einwohnern . Er liegt im Süden der Stadt und grenzt im Süden an die selbständige Gemeinde Merzhausen. Das größtenteils umweltfreundliche gebaute und autofreie, teilweise selbstverwaltete Vauban gilt trotz seiner dichten Besiedelung als einer der modernsten Stadtteile Deutschlands. Außerdem wird er häufig als der momentan kinderreichste Stadtteil Deutschlands bezeichnet.
