Menden ist ein Stadtbezirk der Stadt Sankt Augustin im nordrhein-westfälischen Rhein-Sieg-Kreis. Bis 1969 gehörte es als Gemeinde Menden zum Amt Menden. Ortsvorsteherin des Bezirks ist seit 2020 Gudrun Burk.
Ständige, bis heute nicht mehr unterbrochene Besiedlung kann für Menden seit der fränkischen Zeit angenommen werden. Der Siedlungsvorstoß kam vom Rhein, nicht etwa aus dem unbesiedelten und wüsten Bergland im Osten oder Süden.
