In Hüttlingen startend gelangt man über Rainau-Buch zum „Bucher Stausee“. 

Zwischen Hüttlingen und Rainau-Buch berührt der Weg das UNESCO-Welterbe Limes, die sehenswerten Reste des Kastells Buch und die Fundamente des Kastellbades. Ein Abstecher lohnt auch nach Rainau-Dalkingen, wo die Überreste des Limestores unter einem Glasbau zu sehen sind. Am „Bucher Stausee“ trifft man wieder auf den Kocher-Jagst-Radweg.
