Starting in Hüttlingen, you reach the "Bucher Stausee" reservoir via Rainau-Buch.
Between Hüttlingen and Rainau-Buch, the trail touches the Limes UNESCO World Heritage Site, the interesting remains of Buch fort and the foundations of the fort baths. A detour to Rainau-Dalkingen is also worthwhile, where the remains of the Limes gate can be seen under a glass structure. At the "Bucher Stausee" reservoir, you meet up with the Kocher-Jagst cycle path again.
