Rund um das Stahlwerk führt die Route durch das Dütetal und das hügelige Osnabrücker Land zwischen Malbergen und Kloster Oesede. Zum Teil sind die Wege schlecht befestigt und es mit einigen steilen Anstiegen zu rechnen.
