Im Jahr 2014 wurde der Wald und die Wege aufgeräumt, es wurde Schotter verlegt, damit man mit dem Mountainbike fahren kann. Es wurde auch ein sechseckiges Pausenhaus gebaut.
Der Wald hat eine lange Geschichte, man weiß unter anderem, dass er von den Deutschen genutzt wurde, um die Soldaten im Tarnen ihrer Fahrzeuge während des Krieges auszubilden. Diese Löcher sind im Wald noch sichtbar.
Es wurden auch 2 Hütten am See aufgestellt. Es gibt einen Feuerplatz und Holz kann kostenlos verwendet werden, wenn man ein Feuer machen möchte. Toiletten können im Tennisclubhaus genutzt werden.
