HINWEIS: Der Platz ist von 1. November bis 1. April im Winterhalbjahr geschlossen und kann in diesem Zeitraum nicht genutzt werden.
Der Shelterplatz liegt schön isoliert zwischen Gebüsch und Bäumen, aber gleichzeitig nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß von der alten Digegaard, wo es Stromanschlüsse, einen Spielplatz und eine Petanquebahn gibt, die genutzt werden können. In der Nähe des Platzes befindet sich eine öffentliche Toilette, und in der Saison gibt es eine Badestelle etwa 150 Meter östlich des Platzes. Der lolländische Deich ist einer der allerbesten Rad- und Wanderwege des Landes, mit fantastischem Blick auf die Ostsee auf der einen Seite und das flache Lolland auf der anderen Seite.
