Carucedo ist eine Gemeinde in der Provinz León in der autonomen Gemeinschaft Kastilien und León. Sie gehört zur Region El Bierzo und ist eine der Gemeinden, in denen Galicisch gesprochen wird. Sie umfasst die Ortschaften Carucedo, Las Médulas, Lago de Carucedo, Campañana, Villarando, La Barosa und El Carril. Im Gemeindegebiet findet man das Areal von Les Médules, ein römisches Goldabbaugebiet, das 1997 von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt wurde und auch Teile der Gemeinden Borrenes und Puente de Domingo Flórez umfasst.
