Alcaudete ist eine südspanische Kleinstadt und eine aus dem Hauptort und mehreren Weilern bestehende Gemeinde mit insgesamt 10.498 Einwohnern im Zentrum der Provinz Jaén in der autonomen Region Andalusien. Der Ort Alcaudete liegt gut 46 km südwestlich der Provinzhauptstadt Jaén in einer Höhe von knapp 660 bis 680 m ü. d. M. Das Klima im Winter ist gemäßigt, im Sommer dagegen warm bis heiß; die geringen Niederschlagsmengen fallen – mit Ausnahme der nahezu regenlosen Sommermonate – verteilt übers ganze Jahr.
