Ceráin ist eine kleine ländliche Gemeinde in der guipuzkoanischen Region Goyerri. Innerhalb des Baskenlands war es Pionier in der Entwicklung des ländlichen Tourismus, der eine große Bedeutung für die lokale Wirtschaft hat.
Das Dorf verfügt über ein ethnografisches Museum und einen Laden mit handwerklichen Produkten. Auch ein ehemaliges mittelalterliches Gefängnis und eine hydraulische Sägemühle wurden restauriert und für Besuche hergerichtet, die normalerweise an Wochenenden und Feiertagen in Betrieb genommen wird.
