Praza de Santa María,
Die Kathedrale von Lugo wurde auf den Fundamenten von zwei früheren Basiliken ab dem 12. Jahrhundert von Raymond de Monfort erbaut und im Laufe der Jahrhunderte erweitert und umgebaut. So erhält man eine Mischung aus Baustilen. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind der große Altar (1531), eine Darstellung des letzten Abendmahls und der Kreuzgang, der von der Kathedrale aus zugänglich ist. Es gibt auch eine Schatzkammer. An der Rückseite wurde eine bemerkenswerte Kapelle (die der Jungfrau mit den großen Augen) hinzugefügt, ein Werk von Casas y Nóvoa (siehe Santiago), das 1726 vollendet wurde und als gelungen bezeichnet werden kann. Im romanischen Nordportal ist das Tympanon mit einer beeindruckenden Christusfigur bearbeitet.
