Jahrhundert und das größte Bauwerk Kataloniens.Das Castell de Sant Ferran liegt in exponierter Lage nordwestlich oberhalb der Stadt Figueres auf einem Plateau. Die Bollwerkfestung hat einen Umkreis von drei Kilometern und erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von mehr als 32 Hektar.
