Die Universitat ist eine U-Bahn-Station der Metro Barcelona, die nach der Plaça de la Universitat benannt ist, die zwischen den Stadtteilen Eixample und Ciutat Vella von Barcelona liegt, wo sich die Station befindet. Dieser Platz beherbergt das historische Gebäude der Universitat de Barcelona, das für seinen neugotischen Stil bekannt ist. Die Station ist seit 1995 für Menschen mit Behinderungen zugänglich, als die Linie 2 der Metro Barcelona ihre Plattformen eröffnet hat. Sie wird von den von TMB betriebenen U-Bahn-Linien L1 und L2 bedient.
