Der Pajares-Tunnel ist ein im Bau befindlicher Eisenbahntunnel der zukünftigen Schnellfahrstrecke LAV León-Asturias zwischen den spanischen Städten León und Gijón. Die Eröffnung war ursprünglich für 2009 geplant, musste aber wegen Wassereintritts in die Tunnelröhren zuerst auf 2014 verschoben werden, später wegen der Eurokrise und aus verschiedenen anderen Gründen auf frühestens 2021, wobei aber zunächst kein offizieller Termin genannt wurde. Inzwischen wird eine Inbetriebnahme im Jahr 2023 erwartet.
