Der Zoll der Stadt hatte im Laufe seiner Geschichte mehrere Standorte. 1520 befand er sich im Nachbarhof von San Juan de Dios, in der Straße Alfolí.[1] Von all den Steuern war die wichtigste das Almojarifazgo, das die Krone dem Stadtgemeinderat gewährt hatte.[2] Das
größte Almojarifazgo war das, das den Eintritt in die Stadt von Luxusgegenständen wie bestimmten Häuten, mit Gold oder Silber bestickten Stoffen, Farbstoffen, Gewürzen usw. besteuerte. 1543 wurde das
Almojarifazgo de Indias eingerichtet, das die Waren besteuerte, die aus Amerika kamen.[2]
