Das Refugi de les Ares ist, zumindest namentlich, ein Schutzhaus im Gemeindegebiet von Alt Àneu, in der Region Pallars Sobirà. Es befindet sich im Bereich des Dorfes Alós d'Isil, im ehemaligen Gemeindegebiet der Mancomunitat dels Quatre Pobles.
Es liegt nordwestlich des Heiligtums der Jungfrau Maria von les Ares auf einer Höhe von 1.769 Metern, in der Nähe des Kilometersteins 52 der Straße C-28, auf halber Strecke des Anstiegs zum Port de la Bonaigua. Es befindet sich genau zwischen zwei sehr engen Kurven der Straße. Es dient auch als Restaurant.
