Die Schlacht von Valmaseda war eine Schlacht während des Spanischen Unabhängigkeitskrieges und fand am 5. November 1808 statt. Die spanischen Truppen standen unter dem Kommando von Joaquín Blake und die französische Kaiserliche Armee wurde von Eugene-Casimir Villatte geleitet.
Nach der unentschiedenen Schlacht von Pancorbo war die französische Militärführung überzeugt, dass das spanische Heer in Galizien ausgeschaltet werden musste. Daraufhin nahm General Villatte die Verfolgung der Truppen von Joaquín Blake auf.
