Dort soll von 1961 bis 1965 vier Mädchen am 18. Juni 1961 zuerst ein Engel und am 2. Juli 1961, wie von diesem angekündigt, an dem von ihm bezeichneten Ort die Muttergottes als Maria vom Berge Karmel erschienen sein, wie sie nach Auskunft der Mädchen vom Engel genannt wurde. In der Folgezeit haben sich dort angeblich viele Ekstasen und spektakuläre Begebenheiten ereignet, wie die Aufhebung der Schwerkraft und sogar ein vorher angekündigtes Hostienwunder, das fotografisch festgehalten wurde.
