Das IrsiCaixa-AIDS-Forschungsinstitut, oder einfach IrsiCaixa, ist ein privates, gemeinnütziges biomedizinisches Forschungsinstitut mit Sitz in Badalona, in den Räumlichkeiten des Universitätsklinikums Germans Trias i Pujol. Es wurde 1995 auf Initiative von Dr. Bonaventura Clotet gegründet und von der Obra Social „la Caixa“ sowie dem Gesundheitsministerium der Generalitat von Katalonien unterstützt und ist Teil des Netzwerks der Forschungszentren in Katalonien. Sein Ziel ist es, zur Verbesserung des Wissens, der Prävention und der Behandlung von HIV-Infektionen und verwandten Krankheiten beizutragen, mit dem letztendlichen Ziel, die AIDS-Pandemie zu beseitigen.
