Im 15. Jahrhundert war es eine Kapelle, ein Krankenhaus und eine Bruderschaft.

Es wurde in der ersten Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts als Kloster gegründet und seine Arbeiten wurden vom Bachelor of Arts Alonso de Baena geleitet. Der Haupteingang ist plateresk und die angrenzende Tür ist gotisch mit einem florentinischen Bogen.

Das Innere der Kirche besteht aus einem einzigen Schiff, in dem wichtige Fragmente des Stils des 16. Jahrhunderts erhalten geblieben sind.
