Die römisch-katholische Kathedrale von Dijon ist ein burgundischer Kirchenbau der Gotik. Der Bau dient seit 1792 als Kathedrale, er entstand als Abteikirche des Klosters Saint-Bénigne. Im Mittelalter gehörte Dijon zur Diözese Langres. Seit der Etablierung des Bistums Dijon 1731 diente die Kirche Saint-Etienne, welche heute profaniert ist und ein Kunstmuseum birgt, als Kathedrale. Danach übernahm die gotische ehemalige Abteikirche Saint-Bénigne die Aufgabe als Kathedrale von Dijon und damit den Bischofssitz der Stadt. Sie liegt westlich des Stadtkerns.
