Auf einem grünen Hang des oberen Bruche-Tals in Waldersbach gelegen, dem Dorf Ban de la Roche, wo er 59 Jahre lang seinem Amt nachging, zeigt diese Einrichtung – eines der bekanntesten protestantischen Museen in Frankreich – durch die Fülle ihrer Sammlungen und eine originelle Museographie den Wissensdrang und die Vielfalt der Interessen einer starken Persönlichkeit der Aufklärung, einem visionären Prediger, Pionier der Pädagogik und leidenschaftlichen Verfechter des sozialen Fortschritts.
