Umgeben wird Sainte-Hélène von den Nachbargemeinden Châtel-Moron im Norden und Nordwesten, Jambles im Norden und Nordosten, Moroges im Osten, Bissey-sous-Cruchaud im Südosten, Sassangy im Süden, Marcilly-lès-Buxy im Südwesten sowie Villeneuve-en-Montagne im Westen.
