Les Planches-en-Montagne ist eine französische Gemeinde im Département Jura in der Region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Sie gehört zum Kanton Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux im Arrondissement Lons-le-Saunier.Les Planches-en-Montagne liegt auf 723 m, etwa 13 Kilometer südöstlich der Stadt Champagnole . Das Dorf erstreckt sich im Jura, in einem Talkessel der Saine, umgeben von den Höhenzügen der Haute Joux, welche verschiedenenorts mit markanten Felswänden zum Durchbruchstal der Saine hin abfallen.
