Pluneret ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 5.905 Einwohnern im Département Morbihan in der Region Bretagne. Sie gehört zum Arrondissement Lorient und zum Kanton Auray. Die Einwohner werden Plunerétaine genannt.Pluneret wird von der Gemeinde Auray im Westen durch den Fluss Auray getrennt. Das Gemeindegebiet gehört zum Regionalen Naturpark Golfe du Morbihan. Umgeben wird Pluneret von den Nachbargemeinden Plumergat und Sainte-Anne-d’Auray im Norden, Plougoumelen im Osten, Bono im Süden , Crach im Südwesten, Auray im Westen sowie Brech im Nordwesten.
