Morbier ist eine Gemeinde im französischen Département Jura in der Region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Am 1. Januar 2007 fusionierte Tancua mit Morbier.Morbier liegt auf 825 m, zwei Kilometer nördlich von Morez und etwa 21 Kilometer nordöstlich der Stadt Saint-Claude. Das Dorf erstreckt sich im Hochjura, an aussichtsreicher Lage auf einer Geländeterrasse nördlich des Taleinschnitts der Bienne, rund 130 m über dem Talkessel von Morez, am Aufstieg zum Col de la Savine.
