Misérieux ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 1974 Einwohnern im Département Ain in der Region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Sie gehört zum Kanton Trévoux im Arrondissement Bourg-en-Bresse und ist Mitglied im Gemeindeverband Dombes Saône Vallée.Misérieux liegt auf 232 m, etwa 41 Kilometer südwestlich der Präfektur Bourg-en-Bresse, 24 Kilometer nördlich der Stadt Lyon und 37 km südlich der Stadt Mâcon . Das Dorf ist Teil der Landschaft und historischen Provinz Dombes im Osten im Südwesten des Départements. Nachbargemeinden von Misérieux sind Ars-sur-Formans und Savigneux im Nordosten, Rancé und Toussieux im Südosten, Trévoux im Süden sowie Sainte-Euphémie und Frans im Westen.
