Arfons ist eine südfranzösische Gemeinde mit 165 Einwohnern im Département Tarn in der Region Okzitanien . Zur Gemeinde gehören auch die beiden Weiler Les Bastouls und Les Escudiés.Arfons liegt am Flüsschen Sor am Nordrand der Kulturlandschaft des Lauragais in den südwestlichen Ausläufern der Montagne noire und des Regionalen Naturparks Haut-Languedoc etwa 85 Kilometer in südöstlicher Richtung von Toulouse entfernt. Etwa 33 Kilometer südwestlich liegt Castelnaudary; die Kantonshauptstadt Revel liegt etwa 20 Kilometer westlich.
