Frossay ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 3.216 Einwohnern im Département Loire-Atlantique in der Region Pays de la Loire. Frossay gehört zum Arrondissement Saint-Nazaire und ist Teil des Kantons Saint-Brevin-les-Pins . Die Einwohner werden Frossetains genannt.Frossay liegt etwa 25 Kilometer westlich von Nantes in der historischen Landschaft Pays de Retz am Ästuar der Loire. Durch die Gemeinde führt der Canal Maritime de la Basse Loire. Umgeben wird Frossay von den Nachbargemeinden Bouée im Norden, Le Pellerin im Osten, Vue im Südosten, Chaumes-en-Retz im Süden, Saint-Viaud im Westen sowie La Chapelle-Launay und Lavau-sur-Loire im Nordwesten.
