Disneyland Paris ist ein 2230 Hektar großer Freizeitkomplex in der zur Ville nouvelle Marne-la-Vallée gehörenden Kommune Chessy, 32 km östlich von Paris, Frankreich.Das Resort wurde am 12. April 1992 nach vierjähriger Bauzeit eröffnet und seitdem von über 320 Millionen Menschen aus aller Welt besucht. Heute umfasst es unter anderem die zwei Themenparks Disneyland Park und Walt Disney Studios Park , den Unterhaltungsbereich Disney Village, die Golfanlage Golf Disneyland, mehrere Hotels sowie Wohn- und Geschäftsviertel. Mit schätzungsweise 9,9 und 4,3 Millionen Besuchern zählten beide Parks im Jahr 2014 zu den fünf meistbesuchten Vergnügungsparks Europas, wobei der Disneyland Park der besucherstärkste Park des Kontinents ist.
