Die Universität Bordeaux Montaigne ist eine von vier Universitäten in der französischen Stadt Bordeaux. Sie ist die zahlenmäßig größte der vier, in den frühen 1970er gegründeten, Universitäten und geisteswissenschaftlicher Prägung. Im Jahre 1990 benannte sie sich nach Michel de Montaigne. Am 12. März 2014 wurde die Universität, die bisher „Université Michel de Montaigne Bordeaux III“ genannt wurde, in „Université Bordeaux Montaigne“ umbenannt, nachdem die anderen drei Hochschulen Bordeaux in der „Université de Bordeaux“ vereinigt wurden.
