Die Esplanade ist ein Garten in Metz mit einer Fläche von 9.200 m2, der im Westen des Stadtteils Metz-Centre liegt. Die Esplanade wird an den längeren gegenüberliegenden Seiten vom Palais de Justice und dem Arsenal begrenzt, in der Nähe der Kapelle von Metz und der Basilika Saint-Pierre-aux-Nonnains. Sie überblickt das Moseltal, das Gewässer von Saint-Symphorien gegenüber dem Mont Saint-Quentin.
