Im Jahr 2018 wurde die Straßenbedeckung an der Spitze komplett überarbeitet. Dies ergibt eine schöne, sichere Abfahrt von 7 km @ 4,5% in Richtung Saint-Sauveur-Gouvernet. Von Sainte Jalle beträgt die Auffahrt mehr als 12 km mit einem Durchschnitt von 3%. Die letzten 3 km sind jedoch deutlich steiler mit einigen schönen Haarnadelkurven.
