In 2018, the road surface at the top was completely redone. This results in a beautiful, safe descent of 7 km @ 4.5% towards Saint-Sauveur-Gouvernet. From Sainte Jalle, the climb is more than 12 km long, with an average of 3%. However, the last 3 km are significantly steeper with some nice hairpin turns.
