Die unter dem Namen Sequana vergöttlichte Hauptquelle der Seine, die inmitten der Wälder entspringt, zog zahlreiche gallische Pilger an, die ihr heilende Kräfte zuschrieben. Die zahlreichen Votivgaben, die in dem Heiligtum gefunden wurden, sind im archäologischen Museum in Dijon ausgestellt. Heute empfängt den Besucher eine reizende steinerne Nymphe, die in einer romantischen, unter Napoleon III. angelegten Grotte liegt.
