Die Mine Wendel ist die einzige französische Bergbaustätte, die zu einer Entdeckungsreise durch die verschiedenen Techniken des Kohleabbaus einlädt, die bis zur Schließung der letzten französischen Mine im Jahr 2004 angewandt wurden.
Steigen Sie in den Schacht ein, wie es schon so viele Bergleute zuvor getan haben, und begeben Sie sich mit "les gueules noires" auf eine Fahrt hinab, um ihren ganz besonderen Arbeitsplatz zu entdecken. Sie werden monumentale Maschinen (Grabungsmaschinen, Hafenspitzen...) und Material in situ sehen.
