La Mine Wendel est le seul site minier français invitant à partir à la découverte des différentes techniques d'exploitation du charbon utilisées jusqu'à la fermeture de la dernière mine française en 2004.
Entrez dans la cage comme l'ont fait tant de mineurs auparavant et en route pour une descente avec "les gueules noires" à la découverte de leur lieu de travail si particulier. Vous y découvrirez des machines monumentales (machines de creusement, haveuses...) et du matériel en situation.
