Zu Beginn des Krieges 1914-1918 wurde das Seminar in Larressore zum militärischen Hilfskrankenhaus Nr. 216, in dem die an der Front des Großen Krieges verwundeten Soldaten behandelt wurden. 254 von ihnen starben in Larressore und 131 wurden auf einem von der Gemeinde abgetretenen Grundstück beerdigt. Für die zwischen dem 10. Oktober 1914 und dem 10. Oktober 1919 Verstorbenen wurde ein Militärgrabfeld mit 61 Gräbern angelegt. Hier finden sich Soldaten verschiedener Nationalitäten. Der Zugang zum Friedhof erfolgt durch ein kleines Tor, das ständig geöffnet ist.
