Aan het begin van de oorlog 1914 - 1918 werd het seminarie van Larressore een militair hulphospitaal nr. 216 en werden de soldaten die aan het front van de Grote Oorlog gewond raakten er behandeld. 254 van hen stierven in Larressore en 131 werden begraven op een door de gemeente ter beschikking gesteld stuk grond. Een militair perceel van 61 graven werd aangelegd voor hen die stierven tussen 10 oktober 1914 en 10 oktober 1919. Er zijn soldaten van verschillende nationaliteiten. De toegang tot de begraafplaats is via een kleine poort die altijd open is.
